Consulting stories: populating #FCCS and #PBCS applications from Excel files

It was Tuesday, November 4^th, with an FCCS application still to be created and a project plan running smoothly from December to February 2026.

Top management asked us to see no.3 consolidated closings by the end of November and a report with intercompany matching by tomorrow, November 12^th, with the goal of using FCCS to reconcile intercompany transactions for no.3 periods. These were unexpected and challenging milestones.

In just a few hours of work, we created FCCS application and populated the chart of accounts and the consolidation scope with all the companies, conso methods and currencies. We will upload the data this evening. Tomorrow morning we will show ic matching and this will be useful to adjust general ledger intercompany.

Strength:

• Using flat CSV files to quickly populate all application master data.
• Starting ic matching from a preconfigured standard report.
